아뜰리에 아키에서는 오는 2020년 2월 5일부터 3월 7일까지 박효진 개인전 「밤의 정원 Night Garden」 개최합니다. 런던을 주 무대로 활발하게 활동하였던 박효진 작가가 13년만에 한국에서 열리는 개인전으로 기존 작품에서 변화를 주며, 세계적으로 주목 받고 있는 <밤의 정원> 시리즈 국내 무대에 처음으로 선보입니다.
13년만에 선보이는 이번 전시는 새로운 조각 개념을 제시하며, 작가만의 독특한 조각 기법으로 연출된 다양한 형태의 조각과 사진 신작으로 구성되어 있습니다. 작품의 주요한 소재인 꽃은 더 화려해 졌으며, 위에 형형색색 뿌려진 물감의 색은 더욱 다채롭습니다. 인간의 욕망에 대해 고찰하는 이번 전시에 많은 관심 부탁드립니다.ATELIER AKI is pleased to announce Park Hyojin’s solo exhibition, 「Night Garden」. The show opens on February 5th and remains on view through March 7th 2020. Park Hyojin has been actively worked in London, and it has been 13 years since she held her solo exhibition in Korea.
At this exhibition, a new concept of sculpture with various and unique forms will be presented. The main subject of the work, the flowers, became more colorful. She set up the space as ‘Night’ since she mentioned that the best time for concentrating by oneself is at night. Especially, she’d like to highlight that the night time is when the human nature comes into the light.
